Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OUTWRK Fitness LLC (“OUTWRK,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the OUTWRK Fitness mobile app and our website at outwrkfit.com (together, the “Service”). We collect only what we need to coach you well and run the business. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account & contact details — your name, email address, and login credentials.
- Health & fitness information — intake answers, training goals, workout and per-set logs, body weight and other body metrics, weekly check-in responses, nutrition information, and any medical notes or health flags you or your coach record.
- Progress photos — images you choose to upload to track your progress. These are optional; you control whether you add them.
- Payment information — billing is handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payments and limited details (such as the last four digits and card brand). We never receive or store your full card number.
- Device & notification data — if you enable push notifications, we store a device push token so we can deliver them. We may also collect basic device information needed to operate the app.
- Usage & technical information — limited technical data (such as app version and error information) needed to keep the Service working securely.
2. How we use your information
- To build, deliver, and adjust your training and nutrition program.
- To review your check-ins, track progress, and communicate with you about your coaching.
- To schedule and manage in-person and partner training sessions.
- To process membership and session payments through Stripe.
- To send service notifications, such as when a check-in is due or a session is scheduled.
- To secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, and to comply with our legal obligations.
3. Health & sensitive information
Some information you provide — such as body weight, medical notes, and progress photos — is health-related and sensitive. We treat this information with additional care, use it solely to provide your coaching, and do not use it for advertising. We are a fitness coaching service and not a healthcare provider; the Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, and information in the app is not a medical record.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. We share information only in these limited cases:
- Your coach. The coaching information you provide is visible to your OUTWRK coach so they can program and support your training.
- Service providers. We use trusted providers to operate the Service, who may process your data only to provide their service to us: Supabase (secure database, authentication, and photo storage), Stripe (payment processing), and Expo (push-notification delivery and app updates).
- Legal & safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or OUTWRK.
- Business transfers. If OUTWRK is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Push notifications
If you enable notifications, we send reminders and updates related to your coaching. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app’s settings or in your device settings.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to those who need it to provide the Service.
7. Data retention & deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at jess@outwrkfit.com. We will delete or anonymize your data except where we are required to retain it (for example, payment records for tax and accounting).
8. Your choices & rights
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing jess@outwrkfit.com.
- Turn off non-essential notifications at any time.
- Close your account at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its use, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, contact us at the email above and we will respond as required by applicable law.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
